LOFAR EoR project aims at detecting the redshifted 21cm signals from neutral hydrogen at redshifts between z=6.5 and 11.5. It started to take its first data in October 2012. The project team consists of a large number of PhD students, Postdocs and Staff members mostly from the Netherlands (Kapteyn Astronomical Institute of University of Groningen and ASTRON), and partly from Germany, Sweden and the UK.

DOME project was focused on the SKA, the world's largest radio telescope under construction in Australia and South Africa. The project objective was technology roadmap development that applies both to SKA and IBM. It was started in 2012, co-funded by the Dutch government and IBM and ASTRON, and was ended in 2017.
